Established in 2017, RAMP UK Ltd. is the UK’s leading IRATA Rope Access training centre based in Middlesbrough. With exceptional pass rates, our training facility is well-known throughout the industry. Our story began in
October 2017

In 2017, RAMP UK began its journey while Directors Michael O’Gara and Lee Thompson worked on a German North Sea wind turbine. Inspired by the need for a comprehensive rope access solution, they established RAMP UK as a recruitment company. Further down the line, they started offering training and onsite support.

Within just two years of operation, RAMP UK achieved remarkable success, boasting pass rates of 94.5% in its frst year and 94.1% in the second year. As the company grew, its operations teams completed prestigious projects worldwide, serving prominent clients in renewable energy, oil, gas, and construction industries.

Today, RAMP UK is a testament to Lee and Michael’s vision, expertise, and unwavering commitment to excellence in the rope access industry.
